February Fun!

February has been a very FUN busy month for us. Its been nice tho, keeps our mind off of all the craziness going on with my family!

Our silly Shih tzu Winston LOVES climbing up in Jaces chair and sleeping

and this is our Chug Hamilton's favorite place to sleep

We went out to Olive Garden with my Dad for my sister Ashley's birthday...everytime we go out Braxton gets all dressed up like a little cowboy just like Grandpa...this pic. melts my heart so stinkin' cute

For Valentines Day I let Nate tint the windows and tail lights on the Lancer, but I still wanted to do something cute for him...Jace and I went to his work and decorated his car. He had no idea :)

Nate worked and had school all day on Valentines Day so I wasn't expecting much. He watched Jace so I could go get my nails done and that was good enough for me. But, when I got home  Nathan surprised me (like he always does) with the most romantic cutest thing ever! He is so creative and he sweeps me off my feet everytime.

Cute huh?!
I LOVE what the card said too
it said:
For My Wife
I Love You
They're only three words,
but when I say them,
I'm telling you that
you've changed my life
for the better
and that tomorrow
wouldn't be complete without you by my side.

He also got me a GORGEOUS necklace. Its an angel wing and it says angel on it :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT
It describes Nathan and I so well :)

That weekend we celebrated a little more by going to Sandy to eat at Joes Crab Shack (our favorite) and continuing our never ending search of finding me a lifted Titan

My boys waiting for their crab

The week of Valentines we also got a new nephew named Benson. We have been a bunch of sickies at our house so we haven't been able to go see him. Hopefully soon tho.

My mother in law wanted to take Joran and I to lunch before the baby came. We went and got mexican because Nate HATES mexican so I don't get it very often. It was so nice to get out with the girls. I had so much fun. I married into and amazingly wonderful family and I am so so so grateful!

Ready for lunch with the girls :)

On Sunday we went to the Drysdales for dinner. Jace got spoiled with a Valentines present from his grandparents. He got a balloon, a bear, some sippie cups and a glo worm doll. He loved loved loved the ballon. We tied it to his wrist and he played with it all night long :)

After dinner Grandpa let Jace have a taste of his spongbob marshmallow treat :)

HAPPY DAY EVERYONE:)

My VaLeNtInE

So with Valentines day fast approaching I thought I would do a little post dedicated to the BEST most LOVING husband of mine :)

ALOT has been going on in our lives lately. My family is going through probably one of the most challenging things we will ever have to face...I know we go through these tests and trials to become stronger and learn and I can already see the good from this. Although its hard now, we will all pull through and things will slowly go back to normal again.

The biggest thing I have learned and realized so far is what a great, strong, amazing relationship Nathan and I have. I know I take him for granted most of the time but recently I have really tried to be as good to him as he is to me. I know what I want in life and no matter what road I go down I always wanna be walking it side by side with Nate.

I have learned that it takes TWO to make a marriage successful, you have to communicate and you HAVE to be BEST friends. I'd like to think Nathan and I are all of those things.

Nathan and I have been together now for almost 6 years 2 of which we have been married, like any relationship we have had our ups and downs and we have had to hit rock bottom to climb back up and realize whats most important to us. Lucky for us most of these things happened while we were dating so I can honestly say our marriage has been nothing but learning and growing together more and more in love literally each second.

Nate and I met in high school when he was a senior and I was a sophmore. I had ABSOLUTELY no idea that punk kid in the girl pants would end up being my eternal companion.

We had so many fun times over the next year. In September of 07 Nate left for New York to serve his mission Best and worst 2 years of our lives. We both grew in ways we needed to before settling down. It was tough but we kept in touch.

The night Nate left...worst feeling EVER

When Nate came home we went through the toughest time yet...it was sooo hard....it only lasted about a week or 2 tho then we were back to just how we were before he left. So glad things worked out. I dunno what I would do without him.

Nate was home for about 3 months when he proposed to me on my 19th birthday in the middle of Bear Lake on a sea doo with my ring in his swimmig suit pocket haha silly boy. And yes although we were on water on a sea doo he still turned, was super sweet and told me amazing things AND got on his knee.

We waited 9 whole months before getting hitched.
I had to have major surgery, we were fixing up an old house in Farmington, and we wanted our date to be on the day he asked me to be his girlfriend back in 06, March 20th :) everyone told us we would ever be able to wait that long, but just like everything else in our relationship we proved everyone wrong. We were sealed for time and all eternity on March 20th 2010

7 months to the day exactly we found out I was pregnant. It was a HUGE blessing to us because the major surgery I had talked about before was actually having an ovary removed, I was told it would be hard to have kids if I even could.

Jace decided to come 7 weeks early, which was another strengthening trial for Nathan and I. I have never felt so close to someone as I did to Nate as we went through the birth and our newborn son spending 2 weeks in the hospital.

Our sweet little man the first time we got to see him. We missed out on getting to hold him right away and our families couldn't see him till the next day, but things could have been so much worse for how early he was. We were truly blessed.

So I was trying to upload a picture of our cute little family now but it won't let me so any who
Jace is doing great now,
I am so so so grateful for the relationship I share with my husband I truly believe we are one of a kind! I hope to never ever take what we have for granted!

I THOUGHT I LOVED YOU THEN...
