We had an AWESOME Christmas this year! We were spoiled rotten, especially Jace! It was also very nice because Nates work is awesome about holidays so he has got to spend lots of PAID time off with Jace and I.
Our holiday started on Friday the 23rd. We spent our day doing last minute shopping it was pretty crazy out there but I am sure it was even worse on Saturday. We decided to bake some yummy treats for our families. We got busy that day so we didn't end up starting our cooking adventure till after Jace went to bed (around 8) We didn't realize the bread we were planning on making had to rise for over and hour 3 times so we ended up being up till 2 or 3 in the morning. It was a blast tho I absolutely love how Nate and I are just best friends and have fun doing anything laughing til our sides hurt :)

On Christmas Eve Nate made me get up early and open a present. He has been bugging me for weeks to open our presents lol so I finally decided it was close enough to at least open one. Nathan got me some fuzzy slipper sock things that I absolutely LOVE. I had some from a long time ago that Nates mom gave to me but I had to throw them away because I had worn holes in the bottoms. He went out at least twice trying to find some like my old ones and finally did :) he is the cutest :) I got Nate some comfy black pants that fit him good enough and are nice enough he can wear them places. He was so excited! Dang I love that mad!

On Christmas Eve night we went to the Drysdales and had an early dinner. Nate helped his mom make traditional Puerto Rican food. Its my fav. My hubby is such a good cook. We made home made rice, home made corn tortillas and black beans. After we ate dinner we each opened our Christmas presents we got our traditional PJs and my cute little brother in law got us all our favorite candy. He got me Now and Laters and he got Nate stuff to make pasta (of course) Nate is the pasta king.

After the Drysdales we went to my families house and we opened another pair of Jammies and headed to my Grandpa Hokansons house. We don't get together much with the Hokanson family so it was nice to see everyone. Its so weird how everyone is growing up and having kids of their own now, but its so so fun. After the party at my grandpas we came back home put Jace to sleep and watched Four Christmases.
On Christmas we opened up presents as a little family. Nate was up listening for Jace for hours hoping he would wake me up first so he could use that as an excuse to get up and open presents :) he is such a kid and I LOVE it!

After we opened our presents at home we were off to the Drysdales. Carin made a delicious brunch/lunch, we opened presents and the best part is we got to skype with my brother in law who is on a mission. It was his last Christmas out in the field and we are SUPER excited! It was amazing to get to not only talk to him but to see his face lol It was the first time he got to see Jace other than in pics. We can't wait to have you home next Christmas Nick! Grandma Drysdale spoiled Jace he got so may books, toys and clothes it was so exciting for me haha they also spoiled us with gift cards to movies and restaurants! We can't wait to have date nights and leave Jace man with the grandparents.
After the Drysdales we were off to the Hokansons we opened presents there and were off visiting family the rest of the day. We first stopped at my aunt Lauries where we ate more yummy food and got to see alot of family we haven't seen for probably a year. We then went out and visited my Grandma Hokanson. It was just so fun getting to spend so my time with the family especially my cute nephews. We were completely pooped when we made it back home so we crashed! It was deffinately a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Nate also had the day after Christmas off so we went shooting up at East Canyon with the Drysdales. Jace sat in the car with aunt Joran most of the time so we didn't hurt the babies ears.
