We have been soakin' up the sun and ABSOLUTELY loving all the summer fun that is to be had at our house hold.
Nate took the summer off school (thank goodness) we both need the brake and little Jace man LOVES having his daddy around so much. Nate gets home from work by 3:30 which is super nice cuz we have so much of the night to spend together.
We got Lagoon season passes this year, which I think is so so much fun. Nathan and I have done this in past summers but this year is a whole new experience with our little man. Although its different everything in life that we experience now that Jace is around is so much more fulfilling. I can't even explain the feelings you get as a parent when you see your childs face light up from experiencing something new.
Although we have been to Lagoon a MILLION times already this year each time I go is a new fun experience. This year the Wilde family and my mom got passes along with Nates mom and little brother along with some of Nates extended family. There is always a big group that meets up and we take turns watching the kids and riding the rides together. Sometimes Ash and I just take the boys to the pool and Nathan and I have enjoyed using our passes for date nights and sun tanning at lagoon a beach. We always have something fun and exciting to do thats for sure.
We have also spent alot of time (every Wednesday) at my sister Ashleys barrel races. Her and her horse Macaroni have become really competitive in the last year or so and its so fun to go out and support her. Every once in awhile grandpa brings the grandkids little mini horse Al so they have something to entertain them while we wait for Ash to race. Jace loves his grandpa and going outside and seeing the farm with him. Jace is also very fond of the horses lol I am not sure how his dad feels about that tho hehe.
Last week Nates brother Bob and his wife and son came and visited from Florida. I have only met them once when we were still in high school and dating so ALOT has changed. It was cool to see how we all interacted it was so good to spend some time with them. We spent one day at Lagoon with our nephew Chase and we seriously had a blast! He is such a good natured polite kid, he is definatly a Drysdale :) Its weird that we are an aunt and uncle to a 17 year old :)

The boys riding their pony Al. These two have the funniest relationship ever. One second they are holding hands the next they are teasing, biting, hitting and annoying eachother. They are just like brothers I swear!
The first ride Jace has ever gone on. Jace has a love hate relationship with bulgy the whale haha the whole time it is going he is super serious but the second it is over and you try and take him out he starts crying cuz its over.
The car ride is much more Jace mans style hehe him and Braxton are little riding buddies
My sweet little boy got his second hair cut a few weeks ago. It has already grown tonz but this is right after we gave him the buzz :)
We just decided to have a buzz party Braxton was next then Tom then we put steps in Nates hair and then my dad buzzed his :)

Last but not least I never fail to get the worst sunburn of all time every single summer multiple times...I guess thats what I get for wishing I could be a tan red head :(
