Living our Fairytale: April 2012

This past weekend here in Utah we had SUMMER like weather! We absolutely LOVED it. Nate didn't have overtime this week so we really wanted to get out and do something to enjoy this beautiful weather. I don't know what made us think of it but we decided to go down to Thanksgiving Point and check out the TULIP FESTIVAL. I have never been down to the gardens at Thanksgiving Point and I honestly didn't think there was gonna be any thing spectacular about it but holy cow was I wrong. It was so so SO gorgeous there. It was amazing I enjoyed every second of it!

We have been wanting to get Jace a big boy seat. My mom decided to go down to the festival with us and since it is kind of a long drive and my mom has a dvd player in her escalade we decided to stop and get Jace a movie and a new seat :) Such a big man!

Well things have been pretty crazy at our household lately. Between Nate working 50 hrs. a week and going to school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and every Wednesday we go and support my sister at the races. I like being busy tho it makes life more enjoyable, although it is very nice to have some down time here and there too and there never seems to be a good balance of the two.

A few weeks ago a new ginormous mall opened up in downtown SLC. Nathan and I have gone to visit it twice now. We are both big shoppers lol. The first time we went down was on opening weekend. It was WAY too crowded to even be enjoyed. There were so so so many people. I got sick so we didn't stay long. So this last weekend we went back with my mom. It was much more enjoyable this time it was still crowded but definately nothing compared to the first time we went. We had a good time exploring all the new stores and I completely fell in LOVE with EVERYTHING in Tiffanys. Maybe one day, I will keep dreaming ha.

On March 29th our nephew Braxton turned 2. I can't believe how big he is getting! He is so stinkin' cute! He is obsessed with trains lately everywhere he goes he is saying "choo choo" so they threw him a train party. It was so much fun. It got me way excited for Jaces birthday.

My mom had a few days off work for spring break. So we decided to take the babies to the zoo. We had such a good time! Thanks mom!

Last Saturday we also celebrated my Nephew Isaacs birthday...unfortunately I didn't get any pics. of that one but it was ALOT of fun. Ben and Michelle did an awesome job.

Sunday was Easter. It was weird with my parents being seperated. We only had time to visit my dad. We did everything we normally do on Easter it was just weird my mom wasn't there to celebrate with us. My dad always does an Easter egg hunt for us kids. I know it sounds dumb but is serioulsy so so fun. I look forward to it every year. This year my dad also hid all kinds of Easter treats not just money eggs. I found the grand prize egg of 20 bucks for the first time this year. We also got lots of other goodies. We ended the night with a fire and roasting marshmallows. The weather was perfect and we had an AWESOME day.
