Sealed for eternity!

This past weekend Nathan and I decided to watch Titanic, he told me he had never seen it clear thru so of course I made him sit with me and watch it.

When it got to the end and Rose dies the very last scene hit me very hard, as she walks thru the ship, thru the crowd of people and sees Jack waiting for her at the top of the stairs. Everything is glowing everyone looks in their perfect state, when Jack turns takes her by the hand and they are finally reunited and they kiss as everyone around them claps and cheers. Now the ending to this has never really meant anything to me but a happy ending to an amazing love story.

But, last night it got me thinking. Maybe because I haven't watched the movie since I made the very best most important decision of my life. Marry my best friend in the house of the Lord and be sealed for time and all eternity. As I watched Jack and Rose finally being reunited I thought maybe thats how it will be when we finally meet in our celestial glory to live together forever as one.

One of my biggest fears in this world is to have to live in this mortal life for one second without Nate by my side. But knowing that we are sealed for eternity is such a great feeling. Looking forward to that day where I walk through a crowd searching for my love when he calls my name, takes me by the hand, holds me tight and kisses me as all our loved ones clap and chear. Finally reunited in celestial glory where we can build our kingdoms together in total and complete happiness.

Now I know this may sound very stupid but next time you watch the movie watch the last scene with those thoughts in mind. It will really make you think and for me it made me excited for the day that Nathan and I get the eternities together (not that I want either of us to die any time soon). Just a spiritual thought for you Wednesday afternoon.

Labor day and the biiiig mooove!!

I have been super busy but I now have time to blog while Jace man sleeps :)

For labor day weekend we went up to Idaho Falls with my family for the weekend. You are probably thinking why the heck Idaho Falls? Well my dad wanted to go up there to buy some horses so we all tagged along mostly to just get away.

It was super fun we got to cruise in the very luxurious Escalade all the way up. We got there kinda later on Friday night because we left after everyone got off work. We stopped in Pocatello and ate some dinner and continued on to Idaho Falls. Between all the babies and all the dogs it was quite the adventure but so so fun.

Our good friends Michael and Lauren Clemmer recently moved up to Idaho falls :( (miss them so much) so when we got to our hotel we had them come over and swim :) It was good to catch up with them they are such amazing people! And my parents were nice enough to watch Jace for us so we could enjoy our time with them.

Saturday morning my dad headed to the horse sell and we all decided to stay at the hotel and find something else to do. We ended up going to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, Nates favorite, he went there all the time while he was on his mission and it is a East coast thing so they have very few here out west so of course we had to take advantage of it being so close while we were up there. My dad had given us all money to do whatever we wanted while we were up there so we decided to go to the mall. Ha bad idea for Nate and I because I swear we are both shopaholics lol. But we contained ourselves and we just got Jace some cute Volcom and DC onesies :) After a loooong day of shopping we headed back to the hotel where we all went to dinner came back and went swimming again. We decided Jace was now old enough to try swimming especially since it was an indoor pool. I really thought he would scream the second his little toes touched the water but he didn't... he loooved it he didn't want to get out, but once he started shivering we decided he better get out and get warmed up so my mom just took him and he went to sleep. So fun, I love all the new adventures Nate and I get to have with Jace. Being a mom and having a little family is the best thing in this whole world! It truly is what life is all about, so grateful for the gospel in our lives so we could be sealed together for time and all eternity, I know that when our lives here end the journey never will. I will get to spend eternity with Nate and Jace. Such an amazing feeling.

We headed for home on Sunday morning because Monday was the big moving day! Nathan and I have been living with my parents while we were in between apartments but we finally found a new place and thanks to our families got everything moved on Monday! I have been so busy this last week cleaning and putting everything away. My favorite part tho is hanging all of our amazing pictures and decorating. Because Nate has school almost every night of the week it took us all week to get organized and I never ever thought this place would feel like home but... It does and I love love love it!

It is amazing to me that somehow Nate makes enough money to pay for 2 brand new cars, rent and everything else we need all by himself and I get to stay home with our sweet baby boy. We truly are so blessed!

My sweet little man still loves his swing :)

He is so amazing to me! A perfect mix of his mommy and daddy! I will forever be in debt to Nate for giving me something so perfect!

End of the summer

The past few weeks have been so fun but so busy! Every year my dad puts his stallions in the stallion alley at the Weber couty fair. We get some free tickets and so my family spends the week hanging out at the fair! Its so much fun hanging out and eating as much junk food as we can get! We also always see so many familiar faces!

Our puppies got to come and hang out for a little bit one day love love love them.

My dad brought the puppies each day. They were a huge hit, the kids liked the puppies better than the horses :) This puppy is my favorite Nathan and I named him Elmo but we just can't get another pupper :( two is enough.

Grandpa loves his grand babies :) matching little cousins in their John Deere

Nate had such a great idea to bring his hamock. So, we all took advantage of it.

Eatin' some Jimmy Johns

Braxton and grandpa took a nap together every afternoon. Too dang cute!

Also this month on the 7th was Jaces' big day! His daddy gave him a name and a blessing! That day was one of the most special days ever! Such an amazing thing to see my husband bless our baby boy! I still cannot believe we are parents. We have talked and joked about this since we were in high school I never thought our wedding day would come let alone a precious little baby! I will never ever forget that day and the way I felt it truly was so amazing.

Jace was mad about his little outfit so we never got a family pic. in our church clothes but we did get some after

Thanks to my parents for letting us use their house and yard to have everyone over afterwards it was amazing!

Jace is getting so big and we are loving every minute of it! Its so fun playing with him now because he laughs and smiles! I am so grateful to my husband for working so hard so I can stay home with my baby.
